7. Word Study • 12 Units consisting of: • Spelling lessons • Language and vocabulary lessons • Dictionary and thesaurus lessons • Units are done between September and May. The teacher decides when and how long for each unit. • A post-test is given, but the main focus is studying the spelling patterns and word usage.
