  13. Art Masterpiece • Art Masterpiece is a volunteer program that introduces students to artwork of a variety of famous artists. The students study elements of art and principles of design . The students then have an opportunity to create art pieces of their own. • We need 1-2 volunteers per classroom. There are 6 lessons yearly. Supplies are provided.

  14. Room 28 Procedures • Please send a water bottle daily! • Please try to pay for lunches a week or more at a time. This really helps! • PE- athletic shoes required • Follow block schedule • Birthday Celebrations • Attendance is important!

  15. Communication • Daily agenda- Monday through Thursday- parents need to sign daily ~ it’s worth a sticker!  • Monday Newsletter-via email! • Nightly Homework Email • Binders- graded assignments and practice • E-mail is the best way to reach me quickly! • skeen.morgan@chandler.k12.az.us • Phone voice mail after school hours

  16. Homework • Having problems? Let me know! • Come in before school at 7:45am • Homework: The purpose is practice and review! Average = 30-50 minutes per night • 2 “homework passes” per quarter • Use your time wisely in class • Fill out agenda correctly • AR Books- read 20 minutes a night, and extra on weekends if you can!
