  3. ARRC CAS Objectives • PREVENT TRAIN TO TRAIN COLLISIONS BY ENFORCEMENT OF AUTHORITY LIMITS • ENFORCE SPEED RESTRICTIONS • PROVIDE PROTECTION FOR ROADWAY WORKERS AND EQUIPMENT • IMPROVE EFFICIENCY OF OPERATIONS • INCREASE CAPACITY
