1. Article 3: Petersuchyjewelers.com Buying Jewelry for Women- A Practical Guide for Men Most women love jewelry- even the ones that are not really into jewelry will usually appreciate it if the choice is right. This is why they make the best gifts for women and why it is hard to go wrong with a gift of jewelry. However, you have to choose the right piece of jewelry. You can’t just buy a pearl necklace online or buy Cartier jewelry and automatically assume that the woman you want to gift it to will be over the clouds upon receiving it. Since most men do not know much about jewelry, it can be challenging for a man to gift jewelry to a woman and this guide should help you make a better and more informed decision on the matter. Step one- Know your limits Jewelry can cost anything from a few bucks for fake imitation jewelry and thousands or even millions of dollars for fine jewelry. So the first things that you will need to do (unless you are rolling in cash) is to know how much money you are willing to spend on the jewelry. Designer jewelry such as tiffany & co jewelry or David Yurman jewelry will generally cost you more money but they are likely to be appreciated more by the recipients than they would appreciate cheap imitations. For the guys rolling in money you might not have real limits but you should still decide how much money you are really willing to spend on the gift. Once you know how much you can and will spend on the gift then you can start looking for jewelry within that budget. Step Two- Understand the message It is important to fully understand the message that the jewelry will present to its recipient. This message will depend on the kind of relationship that you have with the recipient and the occasion of the gift. If, for instance, you buy a brooch online for a workmate and present it to her on Christmas or on her birthday then the message that you pass will be ‘I like you and appreciate you, I think this will look good on you’. But do not go sending art deco engagement rings or buy wedding rings online and send them to an old friend unless you are up to the challenge and you want to be permanently in her life. Rings are especially sensitive gifts and while most men may think of them casually, women take them very seriously so don’t give rings if there is any chance that you might be misunderstood. Step 3- Find the right jeweler You can easily buy bangle bracelets or buy Cartier jewelry and even Victorian jewelry online but there is no guarantee that you will find get value for money unless you are able to find genuine jewelers online. A general rule of thumb, in this context, is to stick with known names like Peter Suchy where you are sure that what you get is 100% genuine and who have a refund policy in case you are not satisfied with what you receive.
