Ingredients • 1 large chicken • 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds• 5 Cloves• 3/4 tablespoon of coriander seeds• 2-inch of cinnamon stick• 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns• 1/4 cup of ground almonds• 1/4 teaspoon of ground turmeric• 4 tablespoons of whole-milk yogurt• One 3/4 level teaspoons of salt• 1/4 medium onion (roughly chopped)• 3 cloves of garlic (roughly chopped)
Method • Heat a dry frying pan and put cumin seeds and coriander seeds in it on low flame and lightly toast them until golden. Now in a spice grinder, add the toasted spices, cinnamon stick, cloves and peppercorns to grind together. In a big bowl add the ground almonds, turmeric, yogurt, salt, and ground spices powder. Mash the onion and garlic to a pulp and mix in the bowl with other spices. Now according to the chicken size, get a big dish, put in the foil and marinade the whole chicken nicely without leaving any corner. Cover and refrigerate for an hour or so. In the preheated oven at 400 degrees F, cook the chicken while loosely covered with foil. Let it cook for an hour, then uncover and cook for another 20 minutes until it’s thoroughly cooked.
