Television: Network (entertainment): Performer, production (video editing, graphics, etc.), writer, director. Video production (for training or sales): Videographer, video editor, writer, performer. Internet – Programmer, content producer (writer, videograper, video editor, audio producer).

Skills & qualities needed Writing – necessary in every form of mass communication (radio, TV, Internet, newspapers, etc.) Knowledge & interest in what’s going on in the world. Technical skills – videography, video editing, audio production, software ability.

How to get there? Become an interesting, educated person – have something to share. Develop writing, speaking, technical skills. Subjects that are especially important – English, journalism, speech, theatre, computer tech, political science, history. Get an internship -- make it happen.
