  2. TxTag Customer Service Center • TxTag Customer Service Center opened on April 17th from project office • TxTags are available at: • www.TxTag.org • 1.888.GoTxTag

TxTag Customer Service Center • This was a soft opening, full functionality will come once permanent Customer Service Center opens • Credit card is the only payment option at this time • Temporary CSC (project office) is not open to public, i.e. people cannot stop by to pick up a tag • Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  4. TxTag Customer Service Center • Currently have 549 accounts • Opening an average of 10-15 accounts a day • Concentration of accounts are in Austin

  5. TxTag Customer Service Center • Media Coverage • Article in Sunday’s Austin American Statesman • That led to: • Article with Austin Business Journal • Mention on KVUE, local ABC news affiliate

  6. TTC-35 • Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) was approved by FHWA on April 4, 2006 • DEIS is a narrow study area, approximately 10 miles wide • 50+ public meetings will be held in July

  7. TTC-69

  8. TTC-69 • Draft of the Environmental Impact Statement is expected later this year • Should identify a study area approximately four miles wide

  9. TTC-69 • Issued RFQ in April • Proposals are due on June 7th • Likely be similar to TTC-35 in that TxDOT is looking for a strategic partner • The CDA process should take approximately 15 months to complete

  10. Loop 49 • Notice to Proceed for the toll systems issued on March 24th • Road scheduled to open to traffic on August 1 • Tolling to start in mid-November

  11. SH 121 – Denton County • Environmental approval for tolling received in April • Road scheduled to open to traffic on July 1 • Tolling to start in August
