11. Practice area I:We help distributed teams to collaborate effectively Key challenges: Modern work is project and team oriented. Teams are often located in different places and perhaps in different time zones. They often deal with cultural communication differences and language difficulties. Ineffective working habits such as communication via email and teleconferences can make team work frustrating and expensive. How we help: We develop and implement effective collaboration patterns using facilitation methods and virtual tools. We create modern and economical work processes for meetings and projects. We create a functional virtual toolbox by looking into the use of existing tools, giving ideas on new ways to use the old tools, and suggesting new possible tools. We also facilitate virtual, blended and physical meetings.
