"-(dicionary.com) • Israel was created in 1948 after world war II when Great Britain was still in control of the area. After more than 50 years of trying to create a state of their own, The Jews finally returned to their homeland. • Shimon Peres-President • The U.S has an alliance with Israel. The Majority of people in the Middle East believe he United States favors Israel over Palestine. • Israelis feel that the land is theirs to take from the Palestinians. However they acknowledge that they could have created a more peaceful method of receiving land.
