Chaur sahib

Chaur Sahib is a sacred Sikh insignia used to wave over the Guru Granth Sahib, the eternal Guru of the Sikhs. It is a fan-like implement, traditionally made of yak hair or fine synthetic fibers, attached to a wooden or metal handle. Chaur Sahib is an integral part of Gurdwara Maryada (Sikh protocol) and signifies utmost respect and devotion toward the Guru Granth Sahib.<br><br><br><br>
