  2. A Possible Scenario at Your Library? • A frantic young MBA shows up at your desk and desperately needs your help. He recently graduated with a degree in international business and now must relocate to France immediately because his wife, also a student in the program, just found a job with France Telecom. • Fortunately, he has already secured an interview for a management position with Alcatel, another telecommunications giant. Unfortunately, he had also heard that his wife’s company recently had laid off some workers, so he is wondering if he should even be looking at the French telecommunications industry. • If hired, he has been told he may be managing a diverse team of individuals, so he wants to know if there have been any studies done on French management practices. Can you help him?
