  1. WHAT IS PC ON A STICK? With every passing second, the world moves a step forward with their inventions and new gadgets take over the world every day. As we like to call it, this is the smart age people! Everything we have in-cooperated in our lives today is so damn smart. Life has become so fast and advanced, it’s almost too hard to keep up. We get to see new gadgets every day, making our lives easier. Today we are going to talk about what a ‘Pc-On-A-Stick’ is. Behold, the new breed of super-portable PC. The one without a bulky body, the bundled-in keyboard and also the display. PC on a stick also known as Stick PC is a single-board computer in a small elongated casing which looks like a stick or rather a flash drive. It can usually be plugged directly (without an HDMI cable) on an HDMI video port. It has an independent CPU/processing chips so basically it does not rely on another computer. However it is mostly confused with a storage device. At first glance they look like the kind of a storage device that we’d all save our documents and files onto for easy transportation – except with an HDMI connector in place of USB. Perhaps, the best part of a PC stick is that it shrinks everything down to a tiny dongle-like device.

  2. A stick PC can be connected to a peripheral device such as a monitor or a TV. It can also be used with a kiosk display to produce visual or audio output. It is basically an instant computer, all you have to do is add a screen! Over the past years, a number of major manufacturers have released such PC sticks. However, they are not pretty common or mainstream yet as it isn’t much of a trend. It’s not a gimmick brought about by weird PC peripheral makers. It sounds great to replace a full-sized desktop with a mini Stick PC. Especially for people who need a lot from their computer, just basic stuff like web browsing, social media apps, media streaming and etc. Streaming media on a Pc Stick is one of the easiest and most convenient ways to sit back and watch whatever it is you love. They are a lot smaller than the average media streaming device, making it more portable. It comes with a windows 10 OS. No need for extra cable to connect them to the TV! They are extremely easy to use. Just plug the PC stick directly into any TV’s HDMI port and start streaming movies. Most also have a microSD card slot allowing users to watch downloaded stuff!
