Aim’s of the project • Developing of a picture archiving system, with reasonable price, which: • must be developable modularly • must be convenient with the data security and policy rules • promote the diagnostic imaging, the education and research • increase the diagnostic efficiency in the hospital and of teleradiology also • decrease the charge of the medical imaging services • must be compatible with the different DICOM sttructures and RIS-HIS systems

  8. Conclusions • Stepwise method is optimal for the development and installation of a picture archiving system in the different local informatics environments of hungarian hospitals • Developed MD-PACS is a fast, robust and comprehensively applicable method for reasonable price
