  1. StandWeSpeak A 21st-Century Sexual Wellness Platform 6 THINGS YOU HAVE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR VAGINA

  2. Females don’t pee from their vagina. This might seem like a petty point to the one’s already aware of this fact. But a survey conducted by YouGov revealed that 1 in 5 women think they urinate from their vagina! Let’s get this anatomy straight. Females have 3 holes down there – a vagina, urethra, and anus. We pee from our urethra and the vagina pops out babies. Menstruation, masturbation, penetration – the vagina is quite the multi-tasker!

  3. What does your vaginal discharge mean? All of us see white mucus on our panties i.e. the vaginal discharge. But what does it really mean? Your discharge can mean different things depending on its colour and consistency. A white, clear, and stretchy mucus is fertile and indicates you’re ovulating. A clear and watery mucus occurs during different times of your cycle and is especially heavy after exercising. You could have an infection if the mucus is yellow or green, thick and lumpy with foul odour. A brown discharge is common after periods.

  4. Your clit is a mini penis. The clits’ only job is to offer us pleasure and it does that quite well! It is super sensitive with 8000 nerve endings which is double the never endings a penis has. While we only see the external part of the clitoris, it actually extends back into our bodies with the usual size being 4 inches. Upon arousal the blood rushes to an erectile tissue (men have the same tissue), the clitoris becomes engorged or in layman’s terms ‘erect.’ It is like the female version of a boner!

  5. Females can have blue balls too. Just like men have blue balls, females can have a blue vulva. It happens when females are turned on but fail to orgasm which results in pain or uneasiness. When you are aroused and your vaginal walls are swollen and engorged, not climaxing at this point results in physical tension and pressure. Some symptoms of a blue vulva are an achy clit, a sore uterus, and feelings of discomfort.

  6. The anti-aging Kegels. Pelvic muscles support your uterus, bladder, rectum and small intestine. As we grow older and our body ages, our pelvic muscles start to weaken too. This puts one at risk of a pelvic organ prolapse in which your pelvic organs start drooping. Kegels work like a miracle in keeping your pelvic muscles strong, fit and healthy. They even work for someone who has frequent moments of involuntary bladder leakage and passing gas. Moreover, Kegels are also known for improving orgasms. If you want to keep your vagina young then kick up those Kegels!

  7. Vaginas have several happy endings. While males have only one way to orgasm, females have multiple ways to achieve the ‘Big O.’ Every climax feels different depending on the part of the body being stimulated. Some of the most practised ways are clitoral, G-spot, blended and anal orgasms. Females also have other erogenous zones apart from these mainstream 4. With our vaginas taking so much load with periods and child birth it is only fair to have several happy endings!
