About Tammie Jean Keolalani Filiault Tammie Jean Keolalani Filiault, student, competitor, and now a coach. She has been in sports all her life. She did her bachelors in business administration in marketing and management from Chaminade University. Her passion for sports has led her to several competitions across the globe.
Tammie was born and raised in Hawaii, but her family moved to Guam when she was 12 years old because of her father's job. As a result, Tammie was able to train and compete internationally. Her love of sports has taken her to numerous events throughout the world. Her ultimate goal was to compete in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. In 1998, she started her swimming coaching profession. She has coached swimmers of different abilities over the years. She also started a brand-new swimming team at The Lowe's YMCA, The Penguins. Not only that, but she also founded the first competitive US year-round swimming team in Mooresville for the Lowe's YMCA.
