  1. When thinking of a large goal or achievement, the task can be daunting, overwhelming, and may cause you to turn off that path completely. However, having those huge dreams is not the problem, being able to break those tasks down and achieve them in bite size pieces. Here is a simple formula to use.There is no quick way to achieving success. Success is simply a series of goals, hundreds of goals pieced together to create that larger achievement. When you break down your dreams, you have more control over how you can achieve it. Consistent Effort This may be the single most important key to success. Whatever you choose to study, be it sports, business, a technical degree, they all take consistent effort. By creating bite sized tasks to complete daily, you can move forward much faster than if you were to try and cram all of the tasks into a 12 hour day. Daily tasks form habits and habits become part of your routine.   2. Examining your life can be very painful if you are not happy or satisfied with where you are in your life. When we start to look at our life, we may find ourselves getting depressed. We may not have achieved what we started out to, or maybe we have amassed a lot of money only to find that it didn't bring the happiness we wanted. You've heard the expression he/she sold their soul to the devil. Well have you? Have you gone down a path which you now regret? Are you one of those people who have spent so much time earning money or running after the success that you have lost yourself somewhere along the way?Depression can come from many places. As our world faces difficult times and goes through this economic crisis, many people lose their jobs or homes and become depressed. Many businesses have gone bankrupt and more people end up facing unforeseen circumstances in their lives and get depressed. While the world around us seems to be falling apart, we have choices to make and we can decide how to act or react to what is going on outside of ourselves. Yes it is difficult. Yes it's sad. Yes it is a terrible thing to go through. But everyone can decide how they will go through it. I read a poster once that said: 'When the going gets tough, the tough get going'. You can move on or quit and the choice is yours to make.People who find strength and make it through their challenges are the real winners. Courage is an essential element of personality. Identify what you need from life and plan accordingly. Execution is in your hands; if you do well, you will most likely achieve. If you're focused and determined, there is nothing that can stop you from achieving your goal.

  3. Identify your purpose in life - this is as important as breathing! If you have no direction, there is no way you can achieve your purpose. Without a road map of where you want to go even the best vehicle won't get you there. Know your personal values and align them with your purpose. Figure out how you will achieve your purpose with the values you hold dear. If you've been making someone else's priorities important, then it really is time for you to decide what is important to you and go for it. Discover your passions. Explore what you really love and get out and do it. Find a cause bigger than yourself and get involved.
