  1. Understanding The Anatomy OF A Vaporizer

  2. 1. Mouthpiece The mouthpiece as you know is the part through which you inhale. These are often known as drip tips and are often replaceable and removable, depending on the type of device you choose. These are usually made from glass, silicone, plastic and come in various sizes, shapes as well as colors. You can choose the right one according to your need.

  3. 2. Tank or cartridge The cartridge or chamber is the place where the cannabis oil is present in dry herb vaporizer. Though the terms cartridge and tank are interchangeable used, cartridges refer to pre filled vessels, while tanks are chambers you can fill your own oil with. When using a refillable tank, you must fill level line to show how much oil you can add.

  4. 3. Atomizer The atomizer is where all magic happens since this is the place where the oil is heated. The component has heating element nested in ceramic or steel housing. The element heats the cannabis oil, forming tiny vapor drops for inhalation. There are various atomizers you can choose from, with common ones being quartz, cotton wick or ceramic. Popular in cannabis oil vape pens, ceramic coils wire wrapped around ceramic cylinder.

  5. 4. Power button and sensor Some vape pens have power button which you press when you wish to inhale. This triggers a sensor that puts the atomizer to work. Others are draw activated and switch on whenever you inhale. Those with power buttons work using five click method. You need to press the button five times quickly to power it on and press another five times to switch it off. Most vape pens will allow you to cycle through different temperature clicks of buttons.

  6. 5. Battery The battery supplies power so the heater can reach high temperature fast. Dry herb vaporizer uses lithium ion batteries that are rechargeable. These are quite similar to batteries used in cellphones and electric cars. Some batteries have multiple voltage levels, allowing you to control temperature of heating coil.
