  2. Windows Media Encoder (WME) Streaming Video • Whether you use a webcam or DVCAM, you can only stream video with WME with an air card connection. • Not with Wi-Fi or while in VPN!

  3. WME Streaming Video with a Webcam • Establish an air card connection • Plug camera into USB port • Double click on “Webcam Stream” shortcut on desktop

  4. WME Streaming Video with a Webcam • Click “Start Encoding” to start streaming

  5. Streaming Video with a Webcam • When you see “1 client(s)” they can see you at the station

  6. Streaming Video with a XDCAM • Connect camera to laptop using a 6-pin to 4-pin fire wire • Double Click on “DVCAM Stream” icon

  7. Streaming Video with a XDCAM • Click on Setup” and select “No device control” • Click “Start Encoding” and your stream will start

  8. Streaming Video with a XDCAM • When you see “1 client(s)” they can see you at the station

  9. Streambox Live • Point-to-point live shots • Delay is typically 3 seconds • Stream with webcam or DVCAM • Can stream over aircard, Wi-Fi, or network

  10. Streambox Live in the Field • Plug in webcam or DVCAM • Double Click on “Streambox Live Encoder” icon

  11. Streambox Live in the Field • In the TITLE field enter your last name • In the LOCATION field enter your location • On the right side choose the handshake icon • Do not change last two fields! HAMRICK HAMRICK

  18. Streambox Live in the Control Room • Make the Streambox Media Player full screen by right clicking in the window, selecting “View”, and then selecting “Full Screen”

  22. Streaming Video with Your iPhone • Once you see “Streaming to Streambox via 3G” your streaming is running. • Touch the square “Stop” button to end stream

  23. How to FTP Video • Rename the file • Open the “TO_STATION” • Copy & paste the file into the “TO_STATION” folder • You can upload more than one file at a time • Upload speed is dictated by file size & available bandwidth
