  2. Status OCS Installation GSI • Oracle Collaboration Suite (derzeit Version 9.0.3): • Mail Server • Dokumenten Server inkl. Oracle Ultra Search • Kalender Server • News Server • I Meeting (webbasiertes Desktop sharing, nur Windows) • Status heute: keine Foren Software, keine erweiterten Listserver o.ä. features • noch dabei: • FAX + Voicemail Schnittstelle • Wireless (Zugriff via PDA, WAP,etc.)

Hunkler): • 2 Intel Server mit Suse United Linux 1.0 Enterprise Server • Fiberchannel attached RAID storage subsystem (für RAC) konfiguriert und unter Linux in Betrieb genommen (shared storage) • Installation Infrastruktur • Installation Storage im RAC • Installation ocs (Probleme wg. Oracle bug mit RAC in aktueller Version)

  7. OCS Protokolle und Clients (Email) Email: WWW-Browser Jeder IMAP oder POP3 fähige Email Client( KMAIL, Netscape, Pine, Outlook) Outlook (via Outlook Connector integriert mit Kalender, Aufgaben). Public Folders Adressbücher: Zentral via LDAP, Outlook Kontakte OCS SSO SMTP IMAP POP3 Outlook-Connector

  10. Oracle Files • Enterprise document server, mit Content management features (wie versioning, workflow Verwaltung) • Hierarchische Administration (Subscriber, Site, System) • Users in einem Subscriber können Dokumente sharen • End-user: public+private folders

  11. Oracle Files • Zugriff von Windows: • via Webdav und SMB http://ocs2t:7783/content/Private • Zugriff von Linux: • nfs, und WebDAV (via DAVfs) • ftp und sftp (?) • Zugriff vom Web via Oracle Files

  12. Status • Testbeginn Mitte November • Konfiguration Hardware unter Linux, Installation im RAC • Aufbau 2. Server, Erste Funktionstest kurz vor Weihnachten • Heute: Konfiguration 2. Server, dort weitere Tests am Laufen. Email, Kalender und Files funktionieren • Ausblick: • Treffen mit Oracle und Hunkler Mitte Februar 2004 • Noch to do: • Exchange Migrations Tool • Backup + Recovery von einzelnen Email Foldern • I-meeting installieren und testen • Bulk-Administrationstools testen (Skriptbasiert) • Probleme: RAC (ausfallsicherheit)

  13. Probleme • Ausfallsicherheit derzeit nur teilweise gegeben. In neuer Version 10g: • Infrastruktur RAC fähig (redundant) • OCS auf RAC hoffentlich installierbar • Administration sehr umständlich
