  9. What does my heart do? • Your heart pumps blood all thru the body. • Your heart sends oxygen to all parts of the body. • Your heart helps the blood carry away waste.

  14. Where is my brain? • Your brain is housed in your head. • Your brain is protected by your skull. • Your brain weighs almost three pounds.

  15. What does my brain do? • Your brain does all of the thinking. • Your brain controls all of your muscles and organs. • Your brain tells you what to do and feel.

  20. Where are my lungs? • Your lungs are in your chest. • Your lungs are protected by your rib cage. • You have one lung on the right side and one on the left side.

  21. What do my lungs do? • Your lungs provide oxygen for your body. • Your lungs inhale and exhale to keep you alive. • Your lungs dispose of waste.
