2008 dry autumn reduced the opportunity but still only gains to be had !. NK Oats into grassland. Oats planted but not UP..... waiting for Rain !!. May 2008 This paddock has not been cropped for many years. Cold and dry can be slow !. August 2008. When it rains it grows. September 2008.

  7. Oats sown 35kg ha February 22 2009 March 1st 2009

  8. Minimal disturbance to perennial grasses or soil March 1st 2009

  9. No need to use a combine harvester every year In late, dry start, still great

  10. No Kill Oats into a paddock which had been pasture cropped for 3 years prior October 2008

  11. May as well bring the animals to it ! 16,600 dse days from March to Dec 2008 = $138 / ha from grazing
