G.Ciapetti H8 workshop 2/3 April 2001 Barrel MDT Chambers in H8 2001 - Aim : setting up and first tests of the facility --> test stand for 1 chamber available --> sector rail system installed --> 1 tracker for II coordinate operational Chambers: --> 1 BIL - 50/100 channels (2/4 mezanine) on rails --> 1 BML - 50/100 channels (2/4 mezanine) on rails --> 1 BOS - > 1/3 of the chamber equipped on test stand --> (?) 1 BIS - > 50/100 channels (2/4 mezanine) on test stand Mezanines from test sites, CSM0 (2), no DCS, no alignment sensors.

Rasmux+MaserMux+DCS(?) on board. 2002 (July-Sept beam)- Aim : test alignment with tracks. Preliminary system tests. Chambers: --> 2 BIL - (BIL1A01-BIL2A01) on rails --> 2 BML - (BML1A01-BML2A01) + RPC on rails (common support) --> 2 BOL - (BOL1A01-BOL2A01) + RPC on rails (common support) Chambers with limited n of mezanine. Still use CSM0. --> 1BMS / 1 BIS in test stand 5

Chambers: --> 2BIL - (BIL1A01-BIL2A01) on rails --> 2 BML - (BML1A01-BML2A01) + RPC on rails (common support) --> 2 BOL - (BOL1A01-BOL2A01) + RPC on rails (common support) Chambers fully equipped with final electronics including final CSM/MROD and DCS. RPC with trigger modules on board and final read-out .
