1. Sarah Peterson

   Sarah Training foster “Hope” for her Canine Good Citizenship Test. Facility Manager K9 Tailshakers, Inc.
2. Sarah, a graduate from the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College and has her license with the State of Illinois as a Veterinary Technician. Sarah is a fantastic person to have lead here at K9 Tailshakers as her attention to the dogs and detail has been beyond our expectations. Sarah treats every animal here as if her own never taking the slightest detail too little. She has professionally been in the animal field for five years and has personally been involved with animals her whole life.  Sarah has experience working in both boarding and veterinary clinics.  Outside of working her time is spent with her three hound dogs, Chase, Elton, and Syd; she is active in K9 Tailshakers training programs and with or riding and showing her horse Freckles.   Sarah is also currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in Equine Business Management at Purdue University- Calumet.  As you can see she's pretty busy with animals in all aspects of her life.

4. Above pictured is “Hope.” While Hope is not a part of Sarah’s pack she is a large part of Sarah’s Heart. Hope was a foster dog here at K9 Tailshakers that Sarah brought through many of our training programs including Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizenship Testing. Hope has since been adopted out and Sarah misses her dearly. We are blessed from time to time to see Hope here for training. This is “Syd.” Syd was originally was a dog that Sarah was fostering although Sarah ended up like many of us, a foster failure as Syd worked his way into Sarah’s heart forever.
