  2. eACCR Evaluation – Objective • Qualitatively assess the impact and effectiveness of eACCR business process and systems. • To provide ACATs with a mechanism to drive eACCR process and system changes and improvements.

  3. eACCR Evaluation – Why evaluate? • Derive learnings on what worked and what didn’t work. • Identify improvements that could be made. • Assess the impacts of the eACCR on ACATs. • Provide guidance in developing a strategy that will enable broader eACCR rollout.

  4. eACCR Evaluation - Approach • The Department will provide ACATs with a questionnaire. • Following the return of questionnaires ACATs may be contacted by DoHA to gather additional information. • Medicare Australia will report back to the Department detailing the impact of moving to the eACCR of their business processes.

  5. eACCR – Evaluation findings • The Department will produce an eACCR evaluation report - available late 2007/early 2008 • All stakeholders will be consulted on recommendations and findings.
