  3. Syllabus • Information Covered • Keyboarding • Word • Excel • PowerPoint • References Used • Microsoft Office 2007 Introductory Course book • Freetypinggame.net • Assignments • Completed on time • If absent can be made up during homeroom, activity period, study hall, before or after school

  4. Daily Responsibilities • Opening Exercises • Arrive ON TIME with a pencil & a smile. Being late to class THREE times will result in a detention. • Sanitize hands • Pick up your folder from the bin • Log on to computer and get any materials out that we will need for the day

  5. Daily Responsibilities • During Class • Be respectful of teacher and classmates • Never go to the printer, teacher will hand out any printed papers • Take GREAT care of the NEW computers. • Keep ALL materials in your class folder. • Bathroom passes will be given for emergencies only. Locker passes will never be given during class. Go before or after class. • Try you best, work hard quietly, ask questions, and have fun learning!

Daily Responsibilities • Closing Exercises • Log off of computer when instructed to by teacher • Put all papers back into folder and reorganize computer station • Return your folder to the class bin • Hand in any papers that are due in the hand in folder • Wait until the bell rings to get out of your seat

Classroom Rules & Disciplinary Actions • Read over classroom rules in your brochure. • Any Questions? • Disciplinary Actions • 1st Action Taken: Verbal Warning and Conference with Student • 2nd Action Taken: Written documentation of behavior and call/email to parents • 3rd Action Taken: Detention and conference with students/parents

  8. Grading • You will earn your grade by the following: • Tests • Quizzes • Homework • Classwork • Projects • Grading scale will be a point system • Refer to grading scale on the bulletin board
