COPS Voting Items • NPRR819, Modification of Non-Price Error Resettlement Thresholds and Resettlement Clean-Ups, 8/30/2017 ERCOT comments ERCOT added language to clarify that revisions to meter data not made in connection with a dispute or ADR will not trigger an evaluation of a resettlement. COPS voted to endorse as amended by the 8/30/2017 ERCOT comments (Subsequently, on 11/2/2017, the WMS voted to endorse NPRR819 as amended by the 8/30/2017 ERCOT comments. NPRR819 will go to PRS for language consideration on 11/9/2017 and for IA consideration on 12/14/2017.)

  4. COPS Initiatives • 2% Resettlement Rule Being addressed by NPRR819 • IDR Daily Meter Reads Problem Statement and Goal Problem Statement: Approximately 24% of ERCOT Load meter data is not available for Initial Settlement and the majority of TDSP read generation meter data for Non-modeled Distributed Generators. Goal: Daily submission of meter data from Interval Data Recorder Meters and Interval Data Recorders for ESI IDs with BUSIDRRQ Load Profiles and Non-modeled Distributed Generators, respectively.

  5. ERCOT Updates • IT Report • 2018 Market Data Transparency SLA Draft • Digital Certificate Download Process • 2018 Holiday Settlements Schedule (See Appendix A)

  6. Profiling Working Group • Annual Validation (AV) Update • All TDSPs report 814_20 submittals are complete • ERCOT to review submittals and provide list of any missing via MarkeTrak • Investigated the current AV process, including review of the following: • “Flip – Flops” from year to year • Verification of changes • Weather impacts

Profiling Working Group Update • Annual Validation (AV) Process Conclusions • No significant flaws were found in the AMS/IDR algorithm for residential changes • Profile changes are highly dependent on the severity of winter Future Considerations • Once an ESI proves its response to cold temperatures, ESI remains on RESHI profile • Change RSQ (Squared Correlation) values and/or algorithm • Only review NIDR ESIs for AV
