Servant Leadership There are 5 ways to characterize a servant leader:
Servant Leadership • Vision for Community: • - The servant leader has a particular belief or vision to improve the community in which they are working or living.
Servant Leadership 2. Called: - The servant leader knows that she/he is called to protect the value that God gives each person. This is what the servant is meant to be doing with their time on Earth.
Servant Leadership • 3. Empowers through collaboration: • - The servant gives people the skills to work together to accomplish something
Servant Leadership • 4. Direct Service to Others: • - The servant provides direct service to others without expecting anything in return – they provide the help themselves
Servant Leadership • 5. Knows their limits: • - The servant knows the limitations in which they can help given their resources and time
