  4. Preliminary Installation & Alignment Plans • Align Grouting Plates at Lattice Locations • Available Adjustment ± ½” (12.7 mm)

  5. Preliminary Installation & Alignment Plans • Anchor Grouting Plates at Lattice Locations

  6. Preliminary Installation & Alignment Plans • Add Grout under Grouting Plates at Lattice Locations

  7. Preliminary Installation & Alignment Plans • Rough ±5mm position Support Stands on Grout Plates • Final position later from MMR numbers

  8. Preliminary Installation & Alignment Plans • Fill Support Stands • Add Silica sand to stand pipe • Cap Stand with Cap Plate • Add 3” Fiber wool Insulation to stand

  10. Preliminary Installation & Alignment PlansMagnet Measurement Room • Position Girder on CAM Movers to Specifications Required • Secure CAM Movers to CAM Support Plate • Record dimension between CAM Support Plates for use in final stand positioning

  11. Preliminary Installation & Alignment Plans • Precision position Support Stands on Grout Plates using dimensions obtained from MMR measurements and CAM Mover Support plate grooves.

  12. Preliminary Installation & Alignment PlansFinal Installation • Using dimensions obtained from MMR measurements position CAM Mover Support plate sub-assembly on support stands and precision position using plate mover mechanism.

  13. Preliminary Installation & Alignment PlansFinal Installation • Install Undulator Assembly on CAM Movers using Girder Cart.

  14. Preliminary Installation & Alignment PlansFinal Installation • Remove CAM Support Plate moving mechanism and install Earth Quake Restraints

  15. Preliminary Installation & Alignment PlansElevation Adjustment Guides • Elevation adjustment guides are to be installed prior to lifting the support for height adjustment.

  16. Preliminary Installation & Alignment PlansElevation Adjustment Guides • After the Elevation adjustment guides are installed the Air Jack system can be used to remove most of the weight from the stand.
