Design Concept Major Auto drive Electronic signage interface In-build police detection system In-build navigation system Minor Digitalized window tinting UV system
AutodriveSystem • Drives automatically when it is engaged. • Allows driver to have better experience with drinking or eating while driving • Drivers are allowed to rest or sleep
Traffic Sign Recognition System • Displays on road traffic signs • Displays information of traffic signs on fixed position on the windscreen. Drivers usually missed some traffic signs while driving in certain conditions(e.g High speed, night time, bright sunlight and even poor sign position). • This reduces the vision movement
In-Build Police Detection System • Alerts and informs the driver to the presence of traffic police • Voice A.I.
Navigation System • Displays the way to a certain destination on the windscreen • Uses on screen directional arrow that appears on the road • Has a side navigation map
How It Works • Online traffic system • Having one transmitter at a place that transmits information to the cars with large radius coverage
Digitalized Window Tinting UV system • Changes the colour of the windscreen digitally. • Allows more driver friendly experience according to the choice that suits the driver • Can be remove with a push of a button • Powered by thin layer of fibre optics
Safety Through Redundancy • The conventional meter display is kept as usual to avoid system failure • Example: Speedometer, Fuel, Temperature
Potential Problems Customization of interface could lead to greater distraction. The potential to load “apps” into a car’s HUD could intensify the scale of the interface beyond what was originally intended and safe.
Psychological Impact • Auto-drive functionality could cause heightened anxiety. • Taking control away from the driver may be perceived as a negative. • “Blaming the driver AI” could lead to greater complexity in determining blame for car accidents.
