  3. SAVIN FY 2005/2006 • 19 statewide systems funded for development or enhancement • AL-DE-ID-IN-IA-KY-LA-MO-MT-NC-OK-PA-TX-UT-VA-WA-WY (VT-WI pending) • Awards total over $13.3 million

  4. SAVIN FY 2007 • 13 applications received • $500,000 Cap on Enhancement Funds • $2,250,000 Cap on Development Funds • Announcements expected by June 2007

  5. Reporting Requirements • Narrative Progress Reports • Financial Reports • Performance Metrics • Monitoring Visits • Audits

Narrative Progress Report Reporting Period Date Due January 1 to June 30 July 30 July 1 to December 31 January 30 • Must be submitted in the online Grants Management System (GMS). • Performance measures also required (section in progress reporting module to fill out measures). • Provide summary of progress to date, challenges, and successes. • BJA will start freezing grant funds on 3/31/07 for delinquent reports

  7. Financial Status Reports • Financial Status Reports (SF 269) must be submitted for each calendar quarter during the grant period. Reporting Period Date Due January 1 – March 31 May 15 April 1 – June 30 August 14 July 1 – September 30 November 14 October 1 – December 31 February 14 • Must be submitted online via the Web269 system. • The final SF 269 is due within 90 days after the end date of the award.

  8. Performance Measures: • Portion of semi-annual progress report submitted electronically via GMS (Grant Management System). • Report only on SAVIN funding activities during specified reporting period. • Progress Reports will not be accepted without complete data.

  9. Expenditure of Funds • Obligated funds must be liquidated (expended) within 75 days after the grant end date. Example: If the grant period is October 1, 2006 to September 30,2007, the expenditure deadline is December 14, 2007. • New expenditure guideline found in Part III, Chapter 2 of the 2006 OJP Financial Guide (http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/finguide06/) • A 50 percent cash and/or in-kind match is required for SAVIN.
