  3. FEE-cooling T-sens. • prototype LCS_1 for one TPC (inner) sector flow heater I/O I/O PLC controller ProfiBus PVSS II

  4. Thermal screen • prototype panels are developed • SC: probably similar to FEE-cooling Field cage • few T and current/voltage sensors • HV-supply for central electrode

  5. High/Low Voltage Systems • HV: tendering procedure finished • 16-channel module from ISEG (EHQ F020p) purchased for evaluation and tests (incl. Ethernet/CANopen Gateway) • LV: tendering procedure finished • supplies (Wiener PL500 F) for one TPC inner sector purchased for evaluation and tests (including CANbus interface) • use PVSS II as (prototype) control system

  6. Readout Control Unit • SC link to FEE • inspection of data during commisioning

  7. PVSS II • PVSS II installed at GSI machine(s) • first experience from at CERN PVSS II course

  8. Requests • PVSS support: • guidelines how to develop an ALICE-DCS-type PVSS application (templates, examples) • drives (RS232, VME, Camac) • software (libraries, ....) • OPC support: • OPC servers for Wiener, ISEG, ...
