This study explores the role of BTG2 in human breast cancer MCF7 cells and mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF) cells. We analyze the effects of different concentrations of BTG2 siRNA (siBTG2) on IkBα levels through RT-PCR and western blotting methods. Additionally, the transfection of BTG2-HA plasmids and subsequent assays with adenovirus highlight the regulatory mechanics of BTG2. ChIP assays using anti-p65 antibodies further clarify its interaction with target gene promoters, contributing to our understanding of BTG2 in cancer biology.
