Leslie’s spare ribs Mix: One and one half cups of maplesyrup (onecup = about 250 ml.) 2 Tablespoons of chilisauce (in the US thiscomes in a bottle - I useketchup and chilipowder to taste) 2 Tablespoonsvinegar 2 Tablespoonsfinelychoppedonion 1 TablespoonWorcestershiresauce 1 teaspoonsalt one-halfteaspoondrymustard a pinch of pepper Wiperibswith a damppapertowel, brushsauce on bothsides, arrangeonovenrack, and cook in 150 degreeovenaboutone and one-halfhours,turning and brushingbothsideswithsauceevery half hour (moreorless). (I put an aluminumfoil-linedbakingpanundertherackbecausethestuffthatdripsneeds to be SAND-BLASTED off theovenotherwise!) Bon appetit!
