President- Kathy Lorenzi • Presides at all chapter meetings • Makes appointments to fill temporary vacancies and Committee Chairpersons • Exercises general supervision over all other officers & committees • Maintains continuity by assuring election of successors • Develops ,nominates and elects National Directors for the Region • Recommends nominees for At Large National Directors and National Officers, casts one vote to elect all National Officers. Vice President-Shirley Shelor • Acts as alternate for President • Steps in to replace the President if required for short or long terms • Acts as Chapter Parlimentaran Robert’s Rules, etc • My favorite: Other duties as assigned by the President May 19, 2005
Secretary • Records business decisions and minutes of meetings and makes available to the Executive Assembly • Prepares correspondence and with Publicity Chair, supervises all meeting notices • With Membership Chair, manages distribution of recruiting literature. • Retains Chapter Charter and historical data and Photos • Assures chapter officers lists are reported to Region and National Officers and are maintained current May 19, 2005
Treasurer-Doug Hamm • Initiates Chapter Yearly budget in conjunction with Finance Chair • Collects Chapter revenues and submits monthly treasurer’s report • Maintains Chapter Bank Accounts and draws checks for approved purposes • Supervises any special funds being collected by others. NES, Chapter Conferences, etc • Prepares and submits timely yearly financial report to National Headquarters • Works closely with Auditors on financial health of the chapter May 19, 2005
