  2. Section one • shortlist: one of a small group of people who have been chosen from a larger group. The successful person is then chosen from the small group • vital: necessary or very important • tutorial: a regular meeting between a tutor and one or several students, for discussion of a subject that is being studied • majestically: very beautiful, dignified, and impressive • commentator: a broadcaster who gives a radio or television commentary on an event

  3. disintegrate: become seriously weakened, divided or destroyed cargo: the goods that a plane or a ship is carrying cabin: a small wooden house, especially one in an area of forests or mountains amenity: things such as shopping centres or sports facilities that are provided for people's convenience, enjoyment, or comfort lounge: a very large room where people can sit and wait for aircraft to arrive or leave hydrogen: 氢;氢气
