SCHEDULE Saturday – March 11, 2006 • 9:30 AM – General Assembly • 10:00 AM – Eucharist & Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament • 11:30 AM – Pastoral Steward Explains the Function of the Servant Leaders & the District Stewards • 12 Noon – Explanation of the Nomination Process by the DCEO • 3:00 PM – Nomination Process Ends

Important Information Regarding NOMINATION FORMS • Fill up all of the Nomination slots as provided • Indicate your preference for Nominee’s Apostolate for ECSL and DCS with their rank preference: 3 for first preference, 2 for 2nd preference and 1 for third preference • Do not nominate yourself or your spouse • Non-compliance with any of the above shall be grounds for invalidation of the nomination (2006 Instructions to Nominators)

  4. ABSENTEE NOMINATIONS • Nominators who won’t be able to attend the emergence program and still want to participate in the process must provide a written request with a valid reason as per CCEO guidelines to the DCEO by March 11th. • Absentee Nominations will be received up to and not later than 3 PM on March 11th. • The DCEO (Rene Arribe, Dan Dwyer, Audie Chong, Fidel Lim, or George McGehrin) will determine on a case by case basis whether an absentee nomination may be processed.

  5. PRAY & FAST • "If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14) • “Then I proclaimed a fast, there by the river of Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God to petition from him a safe journey for ourselves, our children, and all our possessions (Eza 8:21)

  6. QUESTIONS • Contact any DCEO member to discuss any concerns you may have. • Emergence Guidelines as established by Manila will be adhered to by the Newark DCEO. • Consultation with the CCEO in Manila will occur for any situation not covered by the instructions given to the DCEO by the CCEO.

  7. DISCERNMENT • As our Spiritual Director Fr. Paul has stated, we need “to just go the Lord and prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit to be the decision maker. Secondly, as you go through the names, look into your hearts and discern a resonance produced there by the Holy Spirit”. (Covenant News Volume 12 - Issue 5 February 3, 2006) • On Behalf of the entire DCEO, I want to Thank You for the Love you have shown all of us during this Emergence Process. • Praise the Lord!
