  2. Maps The capital city of Canada is Ottawa. In this local map Ottawa is down the south colour coded in yellow. • This is a world map. With Canada highlighted in red. Local Map World Map

  3. Major cities and landmarks • Canada has a wide range of cities and land marks. There are many different landmarks such as: • Confederation bridge, West Edmonton Mall, Hopewell Rocks, Saint Joseph Oratory, Parliament Hill, CN Tower, Chateau Frontenac and Niagara Falls. There also is many major cities in Canada that are located all around Canada and they are: Victoria down the south west, Yellowknife up the north, Toronto south, Jasper is west, Cape Breton is east, Whitehorse north west and Iqaluit north. Some of the landmarks very famous like Niagara Falls and West Edmonton Mall.

  4. Traditional Costumes • Canada is a very old fashioned country. So they wear lots of old fashioned clothing on a regular bases. But there are traditional pieces that sound like normal things but are special in there culture they are: The Red Serge which is a uniform for the Royal Canadian Police, the tuque which is Canadian for beanie / cap, the anorak which is Canadian for jacket and the flechee which is a sash.

  5. Canadian Food • There are many Canadian foods but the main foods that Canadians eat are: Maple Syrup, Pancakes and Bacon these are the ingredients Canadians use for breakfast, lunch and dinner. That’s not all though. There also is certain recipes that Canadians use. They are: Beaver Tails it’s a Canadian savoury dessert which the ingredients are deep fried pastry covered in butter then you can add your own topping, Dill Pickle Chips which is exactly as its sounds there dill pickle chips!, Smoked meat which can also be served with bread, mustard and dill pickles and finally Thick cut fries/chips called Poutine which also can be served with cheese and warm Gravy. • These are all foods that are main ingredients that are used and eaten in Canada.

  6. List of Celebrations • This slide will tell you all the celebrations that Canada celebrates from January to December. • In March Waffle day on the 25th • In May Victoria Day on the Monday before the 24th, which is for Queen Victoria's birthday • In July Canada Day on the 1st • In August Icelandic Festival on a long weekend, which is a festival • In September Coptic New Year on the 11th , which is Egyptian New Year • In October Thanksgiving on the 2nd • In November Remberance Day on the 11th • In December on the 26th Boxing Day and Polar Bear Swim Day.
