  2. Què és un gen? • Segment d’ADN o ARN , amb informació per a una cladena polipeptídica o per a un ARN • Eucariotes: Exons (amb informació), Introns ( segments sense informació)

  3. DNA eucariotes • Fragments repetits (10-50%): Es situen als telòmers i centròmers. No es coneix la funció (article envelliment) • DNA moderadament repetit (20%): Gens que codifiquen histones, RNAr, RNAt i seqüències amb funció desconeguda. • DNA no repetitiu(70%): Gens que es transcriuen i també DNA espaiador (introns). Pseudogens: gens inservibles

  4. Procariotes: Una seqüència de DNA pot donar lloc a proteïnes diferents (varia el punt d’inici) • Eucariotes: Un sol producte de seqüències diferents.
