ALCT Testing Update
Yangheng and Alexx made progress in the lab last week by getting three testing boards operational, despite a persistent issue with one channel (Ch.20 on 384 boards, Ch.17 on 288 boards) showing errors during the Delays Test. Only one good Mezzanine card remains for 288 and 384 boards, with some cards likely failed due to a malfunctioning cable. Nine boards are still awaited from Naprotek, while seven additional boards are ready for repair. The focus now is on retesting Mezzanine cards, investigating the error cause, practicing soldering, and ensuring continual testing.

ALCT Testing Update • Yangheng and Alexx were in the lab last week • Able to get second testing board working except for one channel • Able to get 3 boards working • One channel (Ch 20 on 384’s, Ch 17 on 288’s) gives same error for most boards during Delays Test
Lab Inventory • Only single cable in lab has started having intermittent problems • Down to one good Mezzanine card for 288 and 384 boards • 3 cards may have failed due to single cable malfunction, will retest • Still awaiting return of nine boards from Naprotek • 7 additional boards now ready to be shipped out for repair
Boards in lab Substandard means some value is slightly outside its allowed range
To do list • Retest 3 Mezzanine cards to see if can be moved from bad pile to good pile • Determine cause of persistent error on Delays Test • Practice soldering so can do own fixes • Continue testing and fixing boards
