  3. HOW MANY PLAYERS? • Internet-based game • More players  more fun • Could be shared on FB to reach more players

  4. HOW TO START? • Player choose a tree seed to plant • Water and fertilize the tree to make it grow

  5. HOW TO GET POINTS? • Water & fertilization is not enough.. • You need to earn points!

  6. RULES Five extra elements on a tree: Flower, Leaf, Fruit, Root, Insect Each of them calculates individual points Total points = Flower + Leaf + Fruit + Root - Insect

  7. RULES • Answering questions in different categories brings more leaves, flowers, roots, fruits and gets more points! • Match words with description - leaves Match pictures with words - flowers Science - roots Math - fruits

  8. RULES • Player can visit another player’s tree and put insects to reduce his total point • Insects can only by cleaned by other players • Cleaning intersect for another player will give you extra points

  9. RULES • If your tree is a popular tree (visited by many other players). You would get extra points

  10. GOAL • If you get enough points, you will achieve your goal – a successfully planted tree

  11. LEVEL SYSTEM • After a tree is grown up, you will go to next level • There would be more beautiful trees to choose in the next level • Questions would be harder than last level

  12. STRATEGY • Memory – always remember to water and fertilize your tree to make it grow faster • More questions answered, more extra points!

  13. STRATEGY • Alertness of insects • Put insects to other trees • Clean insects for others

  14. STRATEGY • A tree with more flowers, leaves, etc. is more beautiful. It might lead to popularity! • More popular, more points

  15. PURPOSE • Making learning more fun • Teach a kid to be more responsible & caring • Interaction with other kids • Social impact
