  3. Renewal notices maintain renewal rates throughout the year. Names are removed from computer the same day dues are received. Leaders should explain renewal process to “angry Legionnaires”. Direct mail renewal is cost-effective and works! Renewal Notices

Renewal Notice Schedule 2009 RENEWAL NOTICE SCHEDULES CUTOFF DATESRENEWAL DATES MAY 14, 2008 JULY 1, 2008 *SEPTEMBER 10, 2008 OCTOBER 1, 2008 *DECEMBER 10, 2008 **JANUARY 5, 2009  *FEBRUARY 11, 2009 **MARCH 2, 2009 *APRIL 8, 2009 **MAY 1, 2009 * Denotes that the cutoff date is also a membership target date. ** This renewal notice is mandatory – all delinquent members will receive.

  8. Transmittals • Transmittals are used to pay dues (including proper amount of per capita). • Submit often! Keep copies of all transmittal documents for the post. • Report other data changes as well (transmittal letters prove submission!).

  9. Update Post Rosters • Mark transmittal date and amount paid in left hand column. • Remember, the earlier you transmit, the earlier we stop renewal notices!
