  2. What is World Day? • We think of as just a word of greeting, but on this day HELLO means much more. • Beginning with a simple greeting on World Day, people around the world send a message to leaders, encouraging them to use communication rather than force to settle conflicts.

  3. History of World Day • World Hello Day was begun in response to the conflict between Egypt and Israel in the Fall of 1973.  • Since then, World Hello Day has been observed by people in 180 countries. • 31 winners of the Nobel Peace Prize are among the people who have realized World Hello Day's value as an instrument for preserving peace.

  4. How to participate in World Day ? • On November 21, we should say hello to ten people and voice our concern for world peace. • Let’s make this event even bigger by learning how to say hello in ten different languages.
