Our Schedule • 7:30-7:55 Morning Work : DOL/DG/DA and Math and Sunrise • 7:55-9:00 Math: Harcourt Mathematics • 9:00-9:40 Specials : Stem; PE; Music; PE; Art: PE (Split, so always wear tennis shoes) • 9:40-9:50 Snack Time – Healthy, please (NO NUTS) • 9:50-11:20 Language Arts: Reading, Spelling, Writing, English, Word Work • 11:23-11:53 LUNCH
Our Schedule cont’d • 11:55-12:00 Write down homework • 12:00-12:20 Recess • 12:20-2:05 Science or Soc. Studies • 2:05-2:10 Pack up belongings, gather materials for homework, clean up, etc.
Grading • Students will get A, B, C . . . based on percentages • Report cards quarterly, progress updates at 4.5 wks. • 90 – 100 = A • 89 – 80 = B • 79 – 74 = C • 73 – 70 = D • <69 = F
Food/Snacks • All lunches must be prepaid- NO CHARGES! • Snacks: Please send nutritious snacks daily for consumption after Specials. NO NUTS • Birthday Treats; NO NUTS • Friday Snack Parents (alphabetically organized schedule to come): NO NUTS
Absences/Early Outs • When at all possible, please let me know first thing in a.m. if your child is leaving early • If your child is absent, it is their responsibility to ask about missing classwork and homework assignments.
Safety • Parents must sign in upon entry and wear nametags. • Transportation: • All changes must be submitted in writing • You must send a note for each day of a transportation change.
