Significantly, all business departments (Retail, Wholesale, Interior Design) contributed positively to that growth. The first quarter of 2011 has reinforced this positive trend with an 11% increase in turnover when compared to the same period last year. • Three licensees are in place to operate the production and distribution of the following product categories designed by Armani/Casa: Kitchen, Upholstery and Curtain Fabric, and Bathroom. In 2010 the Kitchen and Fabric licensees started to distribute the Armani/Casa collection through a selective worldwide network of retail stores, while the Bathroom products have been available from the first quarter of 2011. Figures from the licensees will start impacting the overall Armani/Casa business picture this year. • In 2011 we will open 8 new Armani/Casa stores, including mono-brand stores in Sao Paulo (Brazil), Singapore, Hanghzou - Ghangzhou (China), Jakarta (Indonesia) and Miami (USA). • The Armani/Casa Interior Design Studio launched 8 years ago to provide clients (both private and property developers) with bespoke design solutions.
