International Student Mentoring Program • ● Primary Goal: Provide social support for newly arrived international students to reduce their isolation & help them adjust culturally to UB and the U.S. • ● Secondary Goal: Help foster a global mindset in U.S. students & staff through meaningful interaction & shared experiences with international students • ● Mentors are paired with 2 international students • ● Mentors and mentees attend half-day training session • ● Mentors and mentees meet one hour every two weeks • ● Commitment is for one semester
