Target audience & genre The genre is going to be R&B music The target audience for my music magazine is teenagers, young artists and people interested in music It is for teenagers aged 15-19 interested in R&B music and unknown artists It has relate to the target audience for example personal experiences

  4. Main story • The main story is going to be about a new singer/musician with an interview the interview will include: • How she started in the music industry? • What influences the music? • What music she listens to? • What instruments does she play? • The main story will also include pictures of her playing

  5. Price & publishing The price of my magazine will between £1.20-£3.00 this will be reasonable and affordable to the target audience I will publish with a company that publishes music and music magazines that are close/similar to mine these are: future PLC, IPC media, MPA

  6. Advertisement • How will I advertise my magazine? • Bus stops • Billboards • Posters • On networking sites I chose these ways to advertise as people use or see these in everyday life, and by using networking sites to advertise will get my target group’s attention as they are well known sites

Analyzing music magazines The name of the magazine ‘wonderland’ stands out by being on a strip This caption/masthead tells the reader who the magazine is mainly going to be about The alliteration of ‘revolt, recall, renew’ lets the readers know what the purpose of the magazine is It also shows who else is included in the magazine The image has been manipulated to give a spotlight effect on her It has the barcode and underneath it is the price and the date in very small print

It has the date and the price on it in small print This caption gets the audience to buy this magazine with this particular front cover All of the mastheads standout by being bold and bright pink The headline and caption in the centre catches your attention so you know what the double page spread is going to be about The image has been manipulated; the light has been focused on her to five a shadow behind her and to give the background lightness as well but to still keep the darkness in the corner It tells the audience that the magazine includes these people It has a barcode
