This citizenship education framework enhances student engagement through active learning and independent projects. By employing differentiated instruction and utilizing teaching assistants effectively, we promote outstanding behavior and organization in the classroom. Utilizing Bloom's Taxonomy, students explore various social issues, gather information, and develop models for change. This curriculum also encourages charity involvement, illustrating the impact of volunteerism on their community. The goal is to foster critical thinking and a sense of agency among Year 8 students, nurturing their ability to tackle real-world challenges.
