  2. Supported Employment • Supported Employment (SE) is a service that helps people with various barriers find and maintain meaningful jobs in the community. Individuals are assisted in securing competitive employment or developing entrepreneurial opportunities that fit into the person’s preferences and abilities.

  3. It’s hard enough to find a job • What do job developer do? • Do you just have job banks? • I’m not sure I want to work. I might lose my benefits?

  4. Job Search • Know your community • Web Searches are not for everyone • Build connections

  5. Resume • Trial and Error • Most employers only spend a short time on each resume. • Customize it for the job • Different approach for different delivery methods

  6. Interviewing • Practice makes Permanent • Debrief and identify trends • Expect the best plan for the worst

  7. Job Carving/ Entrepreneurism • This may be a better option • Must build natural supports
