Recommendation 1: Develop Value Proposition Paper (2011) • Explain Importance and Value of AAES Membership to both Large and Small Engineering Societies, and share with members and non-members. • Establish what AAES as an Umbrella Organization really means for the profession of engineering: mission, member values, profession values, collaboration of all members. • “One Voice” of the Profession to the World, stressing commonalities of the several engineering disciplines. • Enhance AAES’ WFEO involvement globally through IntAC

  3. Recommendation 2: Communications (2011) • Enhance, Update and Maintain the Website • Establish Quarterly Communications to key stakeholders • Develop direct contact, face to face, by Chair and/or ED, to four current and four potential members

  4. Recommendation 3: Engineering Workforce Commission (2011) • Enhance Existing products and develop new products • Expand Membership • Conduct Annual Commission Meetings • Communicate the importance of EWC to AAES Members

  5. Recommendation 4: Future Actions (2012) • Explore Developing AAES website as a portal for the Engineering Community, supporting Recommendation 1 of 2011 • After AAES Credibility as a spokesman for the profession is established, centralize outreach activities (e.g. K-12) into a unified program. Funding Opportunities should follow. • Digitalize Archival Records over three year period after other recommendations are underway.
