No tax on renewable fuels - 2013 Lower tax on company cars if they are ”clean” - 2011 From April 2006 all large fuelling stations need to provide one renewable fuel 700 stations in 2006 2 400 (out of 4 000) stations in 2009 State funding programs production of fuel and demonstration of vehicles National incentives in Sweden

  3. …. National incentives • 75 % of all vehicles bought by state administrations should be ”clean” • Prime Minister Göran Person himself is President of a commission investigating how Sweden can significantly reduce its dependence on oil by 2020.

The Stockholm City council has decided: To be fossil free by 2050 All new vehicles that are bought to the city fleet in Stockholm should be clean 60 % clean vehicles in the city fleet by 2006 80 % clean fuels in their tanks 4 % of all vehicles sold in Stockholm should be clean Local Incentives in Stockholm

Clean taxis get customers first at Stockholm Arlanda Airport (soon also on the Central Train Station) A clean taxi is automatically chosen when ordering from the telephone number within the City Taxi companies carrying out services for the city need to have 100+50+50 clean taxis When paying for taxi services for elderly and sick - clean taxis get more money per km driven Taxi

Influence by providing information and arguments write reports gather facts and figures spread to the right people Making sure that the right people meet each other provide contact information When receiving material for review and opinion spread your answer ahead of deadline to other important stakeholders, they might copy you! Keep media informed and make them do some of the work……. Lobby activities
